The Phyongsan County Foodstuff Factory has a small tree nursery, and the case stands thus.

The tree nursery was born 10-odd years ago. In the early days when building of the tree nursery was introduced on the agenda, some employees suspected if the factory needed the tree nursery.

Then the manager of the factory, saying that planting and tending trees was defined as a job of not only the officials in the land management field and the forest rangers but also of other citizens living on this land, took the lead in the van of this work.

As a result, the tree nursery was built at the factory; however, it was easier said than done to grow sapplings.

They overcame all kinds of trials and difficulties, picturing the beautiful tomorrow when the thick green forest would cover the native place.

They have achieved laudable successes in production.

Now, many units in the county visit their tree nursery and make a firm pledge to adorn their worksite and native village further with ardent love for the country like them.
