The Kangwon Provincial Sci-Tech Library has been newly built in the DPRK.

The library has enough conditions for information service, discussion and dissemination and various kinds of exhibitions to provide another powerful base for making all the people well versed in science and technology.

The inauguration ceremony took place on December 2.

Present there were Paek Song Guk, chief secretary of the Kangwon Provincial Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, officials, working people, youth and students in the province and employees of the library.

Kim Kwang Chol, vice-chairman of the provincial people’s committee, made an inaugural address.
