A signal success was made on December 2 at the construction site of the Taedongman Tideland in Ongjin County, South Hwanghae Province.

The Pak Il Sung-led unit of the Korean People’s Army (KPA) successfully completed the first damming project of the 5th district in less than a year.

Therefore, a bright prospect for completing the tideland construction as scheduled was provided.

The construction of the 5th district of the Taedongman Tideland is a grand nature-remaking project to build a dyke thousands of meters long.

The KPA unit, upholding the intention of the Party which put forward the tideland construction as an important state affair, made an exact plan and dispatched the construction force and machines in a rational way while giving precedence to providing equipment and materials.

The unit’s Party organization conducted the vigorous frontline-style political work to double the fighting spirit of soldier builders.

The soldier builders made strenuous efforts to accelerate the damming project while introducing rational work methods.

Thanks to their efforts, the first damming project of the 5th district was successfully concluded.

The soldier builders, not content with the achieved success, buckled down to the first damming project of the 3rd district.
