The December 5 Youth Mine in the DPRK over-fulfilled the first-year production plan ahead of schedule after establishing its crystal mirabilite production process.
As a result, the mine has opened up a prospect for increasing the output of basic chemical goods, including sodium carbonate, with crystal mirabilite abundant in the country.
The crystal mirabilite produced by the mine is supplied to the Namhung Youth Chemical Complex, the February 8 Vinalon Complex and other units, laying the foundation for the development of the chemical industry and giving a great impetus to the overall economic development.
