The educational sector conducts an active work of narrowing the differences in the level of education between the central and local areas true to the task set forth by the 8th Party Congress and the plenary meetings of the Party Central Committee.

The Ministry of Education intensifies the guidance to the university education in provinces while putting its aim on making sure that the universities in regions should overcome the inclination to following the education contents of the central universities, sustain their peculiar characteristics, actively introduce the advanced educational forms and methods and heighten the proportion of practical education.

Educators of the central universities have turned out to aid the education in regional universities.

Universities including Kim Il Sung University, Kim Chaek University of Technology, Pyongyang University of Architecture, University of Sciences, Pyongyang University of Medicine and Pyongyang University of Foreign Studies conducted in a watertight way the organizational work to dispatch the able educators to the regional universities.

Educators also put great efforts into their preparation with a single mind to contribute to heightening education level of the regional universities.
