The National Football Team of the DPRK marked its 30th founding anniversary.

From the first period of its founding, Chairman Kim Jong Il solved all problems arising in training, living conditions and supply service to the players and took care of them with paternal affection.

The DPRK women’s football is making rapid progress as a world-class strong team under the wise guidance and loving care of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.

The DPRK women footballers took the first place at the 2013 East Asian Cup and proved successful at the 2015 EAFF Women’s East Asia Cup.

They proved successful at the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup and U-20 Women’s World Cup in 2016 and won the third cups in September and November this year.

A meeting took place on December 9 to mark its founding anniversary.

Present there were Kim Song Gol, chief secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports, Sin Yong Chol, secretary general of the Football Association, officials concerned and officials, employees, players and coaches of the football team.
