Agricultural workers at the Tokhung Farm in Kangso District, Nampho Municipality of the DPRK, moved into new houses as they did in May.

The newly-built modern houses are a proud fruition of the leadership of the Workers’ Party of Korea which puts forward the housing construction, the long-cherished work of the people, as the primary major policy task.

A ceremony for moving into new houses took place on the spot on December 10.

Present there were Ri Jae Nam, chief secretary of the Nampho Municipal Committee of the WPK, officials and working people in Kangso District and agricultural workers. Rim Yong Man, vice-chairman of the municipal people’s committee, made a congratulatory address.

Then licenses for the use of new houses were handed over and speeches were made.

When moving into the new houses began, a dancing party was given and the heartfelt voices of the farmers paying respects to the great Party Central Committee were heard from every house.

Officials visited new houses to share joy with their owners.
