Kaesong Municipality has contributed to promotion of people’s health by positively introducing sci-tech successes true to the policy of the Workers’ Party of Korea on making our public health the most popular and advanced one.

Officials in the municipality have conducted in various forms and ways the work for seeking rational solutions to the sci-tech problems urgently arising in healthcare practices and solving them through the wide-ranging exchanges, joint efforts and collective discussions.

And, superior experience and successes gained by relevant units in treating patients are being shared and generalized with showing, exhibition, etc. as occasions.

Medical workers of the Kaesong Municipal General Hospital has directed big efforts to researching and developing the medical appliances and equipment badly needed in diagnosis and treatment of the patients, thus achieving valuable sci-tech successes.

In hearty response to the Party’s policy on raising the proportion of traditional Korean therapy, the Kaesong Municipal Hospital of Koryo Medicine made several innovation plans effective for shortening the date of recovery and raising the rate of complete recovery of the patients.

Similar successes have been made at the Kaesong Municipal Dental Hospital and Medicine Management Office.
