Working people’s organizations held meetings on Dec. 16 to commemorate the 13th anniversary of demise of Chairman Kim Jong Il.

Present at the meetings were Kim Jong Sun, department director of the C.C., Workers’ Party of Korea, Mun Chol, chairman of the C.C., Socialist Patriotic Youth League, Jon Hyang Sun, chairwoman of the C.C., Socialist Women’s Union of Korea, officials of the youth league and the women’s union, and youth and students and women’s union members in Pyongyang.

At the Central Youth Hall, youth and students held a meeting to tell stories about the noble virtues of Chairman Kim Jong Il. The speakers referred to the undying feats of Kim Jong Il who paid deep attention to the youth work and trained the young people into reliable successors to the revolutionary cause of Juche in the whole period of his revolutionary leadership.

At the Hall of Women, women’s union officials and members held a similar meeting. The speakers highly praised the noble revolutionary career of Kim Jong Il who showed warm loving care for the happiness and rosy future of the women and the younger generation.

All the participants vowed to glorify the immortal exploits of Kim Jong Il for all ages and to fully display the stamina of the Korean women in the great struggle to dynamically usher in a new era of the comprehensive development of Korean-style socialism, firmly united around the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un with patriotism.
