A modern gymnasium was built in Sakju County, North Phyongan Province of the DPRK.

The gymnasium has basketball, volleyball and badminton stadium with hundreds of seats, table-tennis ground and indoor swimming pool.

The multi-functional stadium, sci-tech learning space, exercise room, video games room, barber’s room and other sports and cultural and neighborhood-serving amenities have been built to help the people and school youth and children in the county train themselves and enjoy diverse cultural and emotional life.

Ri Song Gun, secretary of the provincial committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, officials and working people in the county visited the newly-built gymnasium on Dec. 19.
