Appearance Reflected in Dear Call
Choe Hye Suk, a meritorious person of socialist patriotism of the Rajin Disabled Soldiers’ Daily Necessities Factory, is called "our mother" among other employees. Here goes a story.
One day last September Choe visited the house of Kim Won Ju, an employee of the factory. Kim Won Ju was ill at the moment. Saying that she was sorry for visiting him late, she showed her warm sincerity to him. Looking at her, Kim was so moved by her sincerity and recollected with emotion the past days in which Choe had bestowed warm love on him who lost his parents.
Thanks to her warm sincerity Kim came to recover from the illness.
This is not all for her deeds.
When an employee of factory got hurt in the leg, she provided him a bicycle; when some employees left for sanatorium or hospitals, she also devoted her sincerity to them; when an employee got married, she handed over ceremonial materials.
It is easier said than done to bestow warm sincerity on dozens of employees of the factory. However, Choe, regarding it as a worthwhile work and happiness, devoted her all.
Therefore, all the employees of the factory call her "our mother".
The New Couple’s Song
Early in December, Kim Yong Hwa, who graduated from orphan’s middle school and now works at the Nampho Port, got married under blessings of lots of people.
Kim felt grateful to them for their sincerity.
In fact, as the wedding drew nearer, she felt sad for the growing yearning for her parents.
Then, she was told that the officials of the port decided to make good preparations for her wedding in place of her parents.
The officials held a consultative meeting for her wedding and secured household goods and kitchenware needed for the newly-weds’ living.
Kim was full of gratitude for their parental affection.
Better still, the officials visited Kim’s house some days before the wedding and made all the necessary arrangements to refurbish it now that the new couple was going to live there.
So, the new couple sang the song "We Are the Happiest in the World" at the wedding, out of thankfulness for the respected General Secretary
Indeed, their song was a hymn for our country, which is the best socialist country in the world.
Caring for Villagers
Kim Yong Sil, residing in neighborhood-unit No. 28 of Ryukgyo Dong No. 1, Phyongchon District, is respected by the villagers for her warm-heartedness.
She always carries with her a pocketbook which has notes about the addresses, birthdays and health conditions of war veterans and disabled soldiers of the village and the addresses of the students who are to join the People’s Army.
She has kept it as an unchangeable voluntary routine for years to visit war veterans and disabled soldiers with foods and souvenirs on their birthdays and public holidays.
A few years ago, she secured a four-wheeler for a special-class disabled soldier, saying that he was the pride of the village.
She also devoted her sincerity to sprucing up the nursery of the village and visited high-school graduates joining the army with foods and necessities.
Some people say that she was born with warm humanity.
However, her tender-heartedness was not just an inborn character.
As she regards it the only thing she can do for our harmonious and benevolent society to sincerely care for the villagers, she feels pride of life in making devotions.
