Solemn Declaration

The whole country is seething with excitement after receiving the speech the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un made at the inauguration ceremony of regional-industry factories built in Songchon County, the first entities of the regional development 20×10 policy.

In his speech, the respected General Secretary clearly declared that it is our Party’s plan for the new era to make the capital envious of the regions, to make regional rejuvenation represent the progress and development of our state and to make the true image of our style of socialism mirrored on the ideal appearance of the regions and that our Party will expand the historic regional development policy and the rural revolution programme in the new era so that our people can benefit from them even after a hundred years, and it will adopt bolder measures for further regional transformation.

No other statesman in the world has made such a great declaration for people as this one.

Anyone who is born on this land should lead an abundant and civilized life under the socialist policy of the state, whether they live in the capital city or regions, in towns or mountain villages-this is the unshakable will of the respected General Secretary.

That’s why he gave meaningful instructions that regional transformation is the most sacred and just cause, and devotion to this great revolutionary undertaking is a source of our boundless pride and honor.

Indeed, his historic speech is a great declaration of the iron will of the benevolent father of the people to bring forward the day when our people, our beloved children in particular, will lead a cultured and rich life in their prospering native places that have been transformed beyond recognition.

In this declaration, we keep deep in our hearts the truth that the slogans "We serve the people!" and "Everything for the improvement of the people’s livelihood!" will remain for ever as the slogans representing the intrinsic nature and invariable duty of the Workers’ Party of Korea.

First of All

There is an immortal picture to which our people look up with deep emotion.

It is the benevolent image of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un who looked at bean paste, soap and other products to be used by the county people in their life before anyone else and learned in detail about the variety and quality of the products after the inauguration ceremony of regional-industry factories in Songchon County.

It is the cherished desire of the respected General Secretary to provide the people with the happiest life in the world. So, he was present at the ground-breaking ceremony in February, made a meaningful speech and pictured to himself the happy looks of the people who would be pleased to see their benefits while looking round the dust-blowing construction site on the day of November.

History does not know the great leader and people’s father like our General Secretary who covered the rugged road for the happy life of the people and wished the people’s happy future being so satisfied with the precious fruition for them.

First of all!

Reflected in this phrase is the transparent view on life and motto of the peerlessly great man who dedicates his all to translating the people’s happiness, dreams and wishes into reality.

That’s why the people feel the warm love for the people of the great father through the phrase "first of all" and see the world of devotion for the people of the General Secretary who always thinks of them and greets a new day on the road for them.

With this meaningful phrase reflecting the love for the people of the great father, the creations of happiness for the people will spring up one after another on this land.

Meaningful Observation Platform 

It was an ordinary place of the country, where the regional industry factories in Songchon County were built splendidly.

But today it has been kept clearly in the minds of our people and in the sacred history of our homeland as a historic place to be handed down to all generations.

It is by no means only a place where the first precious entities of the ten-year revolution of the Workers’ Party of Korea ushering in the fresh era of Regional Rejuvenation were built.

Standing on the platform, we seem to hear a voice of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un.

The respected General Secretary, who visited the county ten months ago, earnestly said as follows:

At this moment when we are making a vigorous step forward towards a grand transformation, a revolution in the regional industry, I picture in my mind’s eye the future of regions that would be transformed year after year. As I do so, I feel the dignity and pride in the forthcoming struggle redoubled, and I am greatly moved by the thought that the people in all cities and counties in provinces, numbering more than ten million, will be provided with substantial benefits in their living…

Since he broke ground first in that place of history, he always kept in his mind not only Songchon County but also all cities and counties of the country and led the construction of regional industry factories step by step, taking meticulous care of the construction ranging from design to execution.

Indeed, the meaningful place is the starting point of the regional development ten-year revolution for the promotion of the people’s well-being and realization of the ideal and the platform enabling us to look ahead into the rosy future to be brought by the motherly Party.

At the historic place where the thunder of the beginning of the ten-year revolution for the regional development was sounded and the eye-opening miracles were wrought, pressing down the years, we see the 50-year and 100-year prospect of our prosperous country where all dreams of the people will be brought into full bloom.
