A gymnasium has been built at the Kumhwa Mine in North Hwanghae Province of the DPRK.

The gymnasium has a multi-functional court capable of playing basketball, volleyball, table-tennis, tennis and other sports events, stage, sci-tech learning space and cultural and welfare facilities.

Its completion provides another base for the miners to enjoy diverse cultural and emotional life.
