The South Hwanghae Provincial Sci-Tech Library has been built in the DPRK.

The library has conditions for information service, academic discussion, dissemination and various kinds of exhibitions to provide another regional base for disseminating the latest science and technology.

The inauguration ceremony took place on the spot on January 1.

Present there were Pak Thae Sop, secretary of the South Hwanghae Provincial Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, officials concerned, employees of the library, builders and youth and students in the city of Haeju.

Kim Chol Bom, chairman of the South Hwanghae Provincial People’s Committee, addressed the ceremony.
