Sleepless Night
Arriving in Pyongyang we were surprised to know that our lodging place is the Yanggakdo International Hotel on the River Taedong.
At the lodging place of the modern hotel, I enjoyed a bird’s eye view of the capital city of Pyongyang. It made me sing the song "Don’t Advance, Night of Pyongyang".
At that time a doctor and a chambermaid visited my room. They asked me if I was fine saying that they came because my room was lighted at midnight.
I was deeply moved to see them who were taking deep care of me. Feeling the great love shown by the Party, I could not sleep all night.
Indeed, our Party values the feats of our ordinary working people and bestows all the blessings on us. Even now I cannot express my pride and happiness living under the care of the benevolent Party.

New Houses and Souvenir Photo
Greeting the New Year, everyone I meet says that I am a blessed man.
At that time, I think that we miners are living envied by the world people under the care of the respected General Secretary, great father.
The General Secretary saw to it that the miners in Komdok have new dwelling houses free of charge and get a medical examination and treatment in a famous central hospital in Pyongyang.
We miners were invited to the celebrations of the New Year and had a souvenir photo taken with the General Secretary. I think we are the happiest ones and blessed ones in the world.
Our miners of Komdok including me are full of ardent zeal to uphold our Party with increase production in the future, too.
