In Pyongyang Municipality

Officials of Pyongyang Municipality make bold plans for supporting the countryside and push forward with them from the beginning of the year.

On Jan. 5, districts and counties of the municipality and municipal-level organs, factories and enterprises sent lots of manure to farms in the municipality.

The municipal Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea actively roused officials, Party members and other working people to the struggle to send more of quality manure to farms in the municipality.

Party organizations at all levels in the municipality conducted organizational and political work to let the masses fully understand the importance of fertility improvement in attaining the grain production goal with good methods.

Watertight measures for intensive transportation were taken and, in the meantime, assignments for every unit were allocated to find out more manure sources.

On Jan. 5, the central districts, municipal-level organs, factories and enterprises sent a good amount of manure to several farms in Kangnam County.

Other districts and counties also supplied a large quantity of manure to farms in their regions.

That day, the array of manure-loaded lorries headed by a loudspeaker van added much to the atmosphere of supporting the countryside.

The intensive manure transportation greatly encouraged the agricultural workers who are eager to adorn this year with high grain production results.

In Ryanggang Province

Officials and workers of Ryanggang Province sent lots of manure to farms in the province.

Shortly ago, officials of provincial organs, factories and enterprises went out to farms in Samjiyon City with lorries fully loaded with manure and encouraged the agricultural workers to bring about a turn in this year’s potato farming.

Cities and counties like Taehongdan, Paekam and Unhung counties sent quality manure to farms.

At present, the province intensifies organizational work to elevate enthusiasm for supporting the countryside.

In Rason Municipality

Rason Municipality renders active support to agricultural front from the outset of the new year.

The municipality directed great efforts to heightening enthusiasm for supporting the countryside.

The work to actively tap sources of manure was conducted on a mass scale and lots of manure was secured.

On Jan. 3, lorries carrying quality manure headed for farms.

The officials of the municipality actively roused the agricultural workers to the implementation of the Party’s agricultural policy.
