The Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea sent a message of thanks to the workers, technicians and officials of the Munphyong Smeltery who successfully completed the project for modernizing the calcinations-sulfuric acid line.

A meeting for conveying the message of thanks took place on January 5.

Present there were Kim Tok Hun, secretary of the WPK Central Committee, Paek Song Guk, chief secretary of the Kangwon Provincial Committee of the WPK, and officials and employees of the smeltery.

Kim Tok Hun conveyed a message of thanks of the WPK Central Committee.

The WPK Central Committee in the message of thanks said that another significant entity increasing the might of Juche-based industry was born at the Munphyong Smeltery, a leading nonferrous metal producer, to brilliantly adorn the year of 2024.

The WPK Central Committee extended thanks to the workers, technicians and officials of the smeltery, who established an advanced calcinations-sulfuric acid line of pollution-free, labor-saving and site-saving type to make it possible to produce sulfuric acid in a stable way while making remarkable progress in improving the production environment, and set an example in carrying out the Party’s strategy for readjustment and reinforcement.

They completed the project by their own efforts despite the manifold difficulties and obstacles hindering their advance, the message said, adding this is a manifestation of their unshakable faith to support the Party with increased production of nonferrous metal, cherishing the tradition and pride as a factory with many patriots and a powerful factory.
