Cradle of Happiness
In August last year, hundreds of dwelling houses were built anew at our farm and the farmers moved into the houses.
At the same time, our nursery was nicely built to suit the landscape of the new farm village.
All the parents of the children at our nursery are full of gratitude to our social system, seeing their sons and daughters grow up happily at the new houses and the wonderful nursery.
Looking at them, I recollect in tears the articles of the DPRK law on childcare.
There, it is stipulated that the regional people’s committee, relevant organs and enterprises should locate the nurseries and kindergartens in places with good natural and geological conditions and hygienic safety conditions which are sunny, well-ventilated, free of dust and noise, and away from roads, reservoirs, rivers and streams so that no negative influence would affect the children’s health and growth.
In our country, bases for bringing up and educating children are built splendidly wherever new villages and streets appear and children grow up in the cradle of happiness with nothing to envy in the world.
Indeed, our country is a kingdom of children where the rising generation is treasured the most.
I will improve education and bringing up of children for such a benevolent society.

Taking Good Nutritive Care of Children
Shortly ago, I dropped in at my son’s kindergarten and happened to see children have lunch.
Then, a woman came in and put something into their soup.
Afterwards, a teacher told the kids that it would help them grow taller and healthier.
Out of curiosity, I asked what it was.
The teacher replied that it was kelp powder.
I knew about the nutritive foodstuff given to children since my son boasted of the various snacks he had at the kindergarten every day.
But I didn’t know about the kelp powder.
The teacher said to me that among those nutritive foods supplied to children was bone powder.
I knew that the Party’s love for the children was great but not that the kinds of nutritive foods given to them were so various.
This may be what other parents, not only me, feel in their hearts.
I will devote my all to repay such great love and benevolence of the Party.

My Honorable Worksite
Our branch is on a high tableland.
I came here after military service a few years ago.
It is not easy to tend goats and massively produce dairy products in such an alpine region. However, all the employees of the branch are proud of their worksite and job.
That is because what we do is an important undertaking to translate the Party’s noble outlook on posterity and future.
Thanks to the love of the motherly Party, which spares nothing for the future generation, children’s merry laughter fills every nook and corner of the country.
I will regard my worksite as the most honorable and work here faithfully all my life.
