Collective Overflowed with Affection

These days Han Won Sam, a worker of the Taean Heavy Machine Complex, does not get to sleep easily at night thinking of warm love of officials and employees of the complex though two months have passed since he began living in a new house.

Han’s house was damaged by an unexpected disaster last year.

At that time, his family members were upset and confused.

But they could lead a stabilized life as before with the help of the officials and his workmates.

The next day Choe Ji Yong, head of the material supply department in the complex, and other officials carried materials needed for housing construction. And many of the officials and Han’s workmates built a new house for Han’s family in ten-odd days.

On the day when he moved to the new house amid the blessings of people, Han and his family members shed tears of emotion.

That day, his heart was filled with happiness that he was living under the care of collective and comrades.

Han resolved to do more good work for the socialist country.

A Farmer’s Deep Impression 

Not long ago, Kim Pong Gu, head of a work-team under the Chongdan County Rural Economy Committee, handed over a bag to a farmer of his work-team and suggested congratulating his mother’s birthday together.

At the moment the farmer was surprised at the fact that the head of the work-team knew his mother’s birthday.

Then the farmer recollected Kim Pong Gu’s pocketbook called as "our family’s book" by the members of the work-team.

The pocketbook reflects sincerity of Kim who takes deep care of the work-team members regarding them as one family.

Looking up to the work-team head, the farmer felt a lump in his throat.

With the pride of being a member of the collective full of love and affection, the farmer went to his house together with the work-team head.

With Sense of Moral Obligation

On the morning of New Year’s Day, officials of the State General Bureau of Design including Song Il, O Myong Hyok and Ri Sun Ok visited Kim Ki Ung’s house in the neighborhood unit No.5 of Pipha-dong No.1, Moranbong District.

Kim Ki Ung was moved to tears seeing the guests again on New Year’s Day.

Although several years have passed since Kim’s wife, who had worked at the State General Bureau of Design, passed away by an unexpected accident, they have always paid deep attention to the living of Kim Ki Ung.

For years they have often visited Kim’s house to solve arising problems in his living and asked his daughter to study well and become a university student in order to shoulder big part for the country like her mother.

On New Year’s Day Kim Ki Ung deeply felt again about the superiority of our benevolent society, seeing the visitors who invariably take care of his family with the sense of moral obligation.
