The seesaw is a folk play playing on a long plank which is balanced at the center so that one end rises as the other end descends. It is the play of competition for higher rise.

From olden times our people have enjoyed the seesaw play. It is popular among women.

In our country there is a proverb which says "If people play seesaw in January, their soles of feet do not get thorns in the year." This gives the meaning that seesaw makes people healthy.

Modern acrobatics of seesaw encourage our people.

Seesaw has been inscribed as an intangible cultural heritage of the nation.
