In July 2018, the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un inspected the Songdowon General Foodstuff Factory in spite of the scorching heat.

Wearing a broad smile on his face, he said he visited the factory to see the officials and employees of the factory.

He continued that the factory was built according to the instructions of Chairman Kim Jong Il and highly appreciated the achievements recently made by the factory.

He praised again and again that the factory verified the validity of the Party policy by producing quality foodstuff to give pleasure to the people and that he was pleased with their achievements.

That day he stressed the need to pay special attention to ensuring hygienic safety of products and revitalize production on a higher level based on the already-made successes while further improving the quality of products to satisfy the people’s tastes and opinions.

He expressed the firm belief that the officials and employees of the factory would exalt the honor of the factory favored by the people and serving the people by managing and running the factory properly and producing quality foodstuff in larger amounts.

The officials and employees were so excited at the great trust of the respected General Secretary.

They made up their minds to devote wisdom and passion to conveying to the people his great love as soon as possible.
