The Kim Chaek Iron and Streel Complex, a leading metal base of the country, vibrates with creation of new innovation.
Amid the remarkable readiness and sturdy struggle of its workers who set higher increased production goal and vigorously implement it keeping pace with those of the Sangwon Cement Complex pledging to increase hundreds of thousands of tons of cement before the Party, an unprecedented innovation was made to increase the production of iron and steel amounting to over 1 000 tons in January this year.
Thus, daily output of iron and steel is going up by 1.5 times on an average, 1.7 times to the maximum as compared with the same period of last year.
The increased production goal set by the steel workers of the complex this year was 10 times more than that of last year and it was a stiff task for the complex which has renewed the highest record several times in the production of Juche iron since its operation.
But its workers have carried out their daily and weekly plan without fail always reflecting themselves in the ideological spirit of those displayed in the Chollima era.
In particular, the furnace workshop Nos. 1 and 2 roused to increased production struggle.
They have finished overhauling of furnace only for several days.
Similar successes have been witnessed in other workshops.
Meanwhile, the innovative working attitudes and practical models of the complex’s officials have encouraged the workers to create new standard and record.
