The construction of a modern greenhouse farm is progressing apace in the area of Hadan-ri of Sinuiju City and Soho-ri of Uiju County, North Phyongan Province of the DPRK.

When a large-scale greenhouse is built on a scientific and IT basis against the background of modern houses along the shore of the Amnok River, this islet area will be renowned as a new model of regional development with its strong development potential and as a dazzling symbol of prosperity in the present era.

In a matter of 20 days after the significant ground-breaking ceremony for the project on February 10, officers and men of the Navy and Air Force units of the Korean People’s Army and commanding officers and members of the Paektusan Hero Youth Shock Brigade produced lots of blocks and carried out the pavement of roads and the laying of power line.

They are now making fresh innovation in the foundation work for greenhouses every day.
