A meeting to review the socialist emulation drive among key industrial sectors, fishery and fish-breeding sectors and pharmaceutical factories in 2022 took place on Wednesday via video-conferencing.
It was attended by Yang Sung Ho, vice-premier of the Cabinet, Ri Tu Song, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, and officials concerned, trade union officials and officials of the units participating in the emulation drive.
Pak In Chol, chairman of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea (GFTUK), made a report at the meeting.
The reporter said that the successes achieved by the units participating in the emulation drive last year are the results of the wise leadership of the respected Comrade
He called on all the participants to turn out in the struggle for implementing the resolutions of the sixth and seventh plenary meetings of the 8th Party Central Committee by fully displaying their enthusiasm and devotion of loyalty and patriotism and thus glorify this year as a year in which big strides are made in the national economic development and the key targets for production growth, implementation of the readjustment and reinforcement strategy and improvement of the people’s living standards are attained successfully.
Then, the standings of emulation were announced.
Citations in the joint name of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea and the DPRK Cabinet and rotating silk banners were conferred on the Chollima Steel Complex, the Kim Chaek Fishery Station and the Unjon Fishery Station which took the first place in the socialist emulation drive. And rotating silk banners of the Central Committee of the GFTUK were awarded to the Kim Chaek Iron and Steel Complex, the Namsi Stockbreeding Machine Factory, the Haeju Tractor Accessory Parts Factory, the Ryuwon Footwear Factory, the Pyongyang Cosmetics Factory, the Sinuiju Bag Factory, the Sinuiju Pharmaceutical Factory and the Pyongyang City Fish Farming Management Bureau.
