Sowing of winter wheat and barley was completed in Hwangju County.

The county set the goal of planting and cultivating winter wheat and barley in more areas than last year and achieved good results in sowing.

Keeping in mind the justness of the Party policy on changing the structure of grain production, officials and agricultural workers of the agricultural guidance organ in the county directed big efforts to the preparations for increasing the cultivation area and finishing the sowing in the right time.

As a part of it, a demonstration was held a few days ago.

Through the demonstration, the officials buckled down to the full preparations for winter wheat and barley farming, while pushing ahead with the work for securing high-yielding seeds and improving fertility of soil.

After making such preparations, farms in the county propelled the sowing of winter wheat and barley in a comprehensive way while promoting rice harvesting.

And the county raised the sowing results by fully making use of efficient farm machines and tools including wheat and barley planters.

Thus, the county could finish the sowing of winter wheat and barley successfully.
