The 14th Commodity Exhibition at Pyongyang Department Store No. 1 was opened with due ceremony on Tuesday.

On display there are at least 760 000 commodities of thousands of kinds, including industrial goods, foodstuffs, household goods and electronic goods produced by ministries and national institutions and industrial establishments in each province.

The venue of the exhibition is conspicuous as the Paekunsan General Foodstuff Factory, Phyongsong Unphasan Branch Bag Factory, Sosong Songdo Leather Shoes Workshop, Jangsan Daily Necessities Production Station, Malgun Achim Pharmacy and other units have presented products that suit the tastes of the people.

Present at the opening ceremony were officials and employees of ministries, national institutions, production and commercial service units.
