A lecture of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) was given at the Central Hall of Chongryon in Tokyo on Feb. 12 to celebrate the 82nd birth anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il.

Present there were Chairman Ho Jong Man, First Vice-Chairman and Director of the Organizational Department Pak Ku Ho and vice-chairpersons of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee, the chairman of the Chongryon Central Audit Committee, members of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee, the director of the Research Institute on History of Korean Residents in Japan, and officials of the Chongryon Central Committee and its central organizations.

A video titled "Benevolent father of Koreans in Japan" was screened at the lecture.

Watching the video, the participants vowed to certainly usher in a new heyday of the movement of Koreans in Japan and a new era of prosperity of Chongryon with their patriotic devotion, true to the idea and leadership of the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un who is invariably carrying forward the noble history of compatriotism of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il.
