Sponsored by the group for the promotion of scientific farming, an agricultural sci-tech workshop in the field of raw-material bases was given in the Academy of Agricultural Science through video conferencing. It is aimed at implementing the Party’s Regional Development 20×10 Policy by contributing to decisively increasing the production capacity of raw-material bases.

Participated in the workshop were a thousand and hundreds of officials and workteam heads from the Ministry of Local Industry, local industrial fields in provinces and raw-material bases management stations in cities and counties.

In the several-day-long workshop, lectures on various effective methods of increasing per-hectare yield in the raw-material bases were given and practical problems arising in the introduction were explained in plain language through question-and-answer sessions.

The group for the promotion of scientific farming put big efforts into preparations for the workshop including the selection of lecturers, teaching plans and media programs together with impressive examples.

Able scientists gave lectures to the participants.

The workshop served as an important occasion in powerfully supporting the increase of production capacity in raw-material bases in cities and counties.

At present, the group for the promotion of scientific farming concentrates its energies on making media programs which give correct answers to hundreds of questions raised by the participants in the workshop to disseminate them as soon as possible to relevant units.
